DAY 365 - The Finale

Disclaimer: First video attempt ever, so I can't quite figure out the resolution issues.  On my computer, it looks great.  But on YouTube, etc. it seems blurry or really small.  I'll work on it.

Day 364 - Formula One Racer

Old vacuum turned Robot Race Car -- complete with exposed engine.

Day 363 - Hammer Time

I was going to do an intricate, mind-blowing robot out of nails . . . then I realized my house is very loud already, and hammering doesn't improve my frazzled state of mind.  So this will have to do.  I think I'll hang it in my workshop.

Materials came solely from our table's boxes and packing supplies + duct tape and a little glue.

The workshop is suffering from some minor disorganization.

I'm hoping to go on a robot-making spree, so I've been playing around with some new combinations.

 

Day 357 - Summer Swim Mess

I had to clean up after the boys had a sprinkler/water gun fight.  But look what I made with an alien towel and water guns! 

Day 356 - MADBOTS

We TiVo-ed the latest season of MadMen and just started watching it.  Boy, that Don Draper.

Day 355 - For the Kiddos

With his past bronco riding experience, Norman hopped on what he thought was a little yellow bull . . . or horse . . . or something . . . and waited for the ride to begin.  8 seconds?  No problem.

 

I didn't have the heart to tell him it was the gear box module for my son's remote control robot.

 

Day 353 - Passing on the Robot Love

My oldest son and I have spent part of the day working on his very own remote control ATR (All Terrain Robot).  Good progress today.

P.S.  I've also been working on my "robot parts" side table.
