Day 135 - Cosmo's Cousin

Cosmo became my close friend Sarah's birthday present a while ago, but I came across a close relative.

I haven't finished, but here's a preview of Cousin Cosmo anyway.  See if you can find him amidst the chaos of my workspace.

Day 134 - Tea Bot

Tiny tea strainer turned robot ornament.

Tea bot is 2" tall - 6" in total with chain and bells.

Day 133 - Robot Gestapo

So I'm not a natural disciplinarian--not so helpful in homeschooling.  I'm hoping this extremely threatening robot will get my boys in line.  I'm sure it'll work.

Day 132 - Sketch This

I couldn't come up with a good title for Day 132.  Here's some progress on my robot collage for The Sketchbook Project.  Though seemingly small/insignificant, all these little sketches are taking a long time to add in.

Day 131 - Robot for Your Neck, Anyone?

More robo pendants for the holidays.  Don't you wish you could take your own robot friend with you everywhere?  You can!  www.remnantsbyrj.etsy.com

Day 130 - That's My Boy

While I've been sketching a few new bot ideas, my oldest has been drawing his own.  Here's a couple of my favorites.

Day 127 - Red Robot

New 8" stuffed robot.  I like his "mismatched" feet and pocket mouth.  I may do some tweaking later, but this is as good as it gets right now.

Day 126 - Home Away From Home?

It sure didn't take long for this place to feel like home, Norman mused.  Chaos.  Everywhere.

Seriously, people?

Day 125 - Candles and Bubble Bath

After the harrowing experience of the day before, a relaxing, candlelit bubble bath was just what Norman needed.  (Minus the actual bubble bath, of course--Norman didn't need any extra rust.)

Day 124 - Norman vs. the Giant Baby

Norman hadn't realized the giant baby was also coming on vacation.

In the blink of an eye, "vacation" no longer seemed quite the right word.

Day 123 - Lake Vaca

Norman stowed away in the family suitcase for a much needed vacation.

His new friend The Mustached Man wasn't much of a talker, but, then again, neither was Norman.

Day 122 - DogBots

I've been making DogBot Canisters for a local shop.  The one with bottle cap eyes was made today, as well as the little Bitty Bot dog on the right.

Day 119 - I AM Your Father

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT/CONFESSION

So . . . I swear on my drill press (the most sacred thing I own) that I have been completing my Robot-a-Day challenge each and every day.

I know this blog does not currently reflect that.  A week of creating jewelry and robots for store distribution, coupled with homeschooling, and a dab or two of out-of-control laundry, has accumulated into a perfect storm of disorganization.  I simply haven't had any time to take pictures, edit, and upload my work.

I'm leaving for a much needed vacation tomorrow and will be gone through Nov. 24th.  However, I solemnly swear I will try to work on my blog and upload some projects during that time.

I just can't promise I'll succeed. : )

Day 117 - Eleven Eleven

My dad instilled in me at a young age that 11:11 is the best, most superior time of day.  (It's the only time when all four digits are the same.)

Of course, November 11th is particularly great because you can witness 11:11 on 11/11.

So in honor of my dad, a robot of 11's.
