Day 19 - Horseback Riding with Norman

For years, Norman had been harboring a vision of his glorious horseback debut.  The muscular, fiery horse would rear up as he--sporting a dashing black cowboy hat--held on effortlessly, making Clint Eastwood look like a pansy.

It didn't go as planned.

Day 18 - Lite Brite Robot

So we ran out of that black paper and lost several pegs the day after we opened the Lite Brite (which was quite a while ago).  Gray and I did our best to make a robot of sorts with what has survived.

Sidenote:  I'd just like to point out that these new fangled Lite Brites have nothing on the real version I grew up with.

Day 16 - Robot Cut Out

While surfing the web, I came across this:

I thought to myself, "Sharp knife, shaky hands, small children running around . . . why not?"

Day 15 - Recycled Postcard

WARNING!!!  SPOILER ALERT IF YOUR NAME IS JOY BANCROFT.

Today's inspiration came from a suggestion in Noah Scalin's book:   Mail art!  Take an existing postcard and alter it, then send it to a random address (or anonymously to a friend), after documenting it, of course.

FRONT
BACK

I used/modified a few of my Remnants by RJ postcards for this.  We'll see how the cut up textures do in the hands of our conscientious postal workers.

Day 14 - A Fear of Heights

An inopportune moment for Norman to realize he has a fear of heights.

Perhaps some fears are well-founded.

Day 13 - Birthday Bot

Combination of a crazy, unproductive day and lack of proper birthday card?  A birthday bot.

Day 12 - Violet the DuckBot

Deep down, Violet never felt like an oil can . . .

. . . somehow she always knew she'd make a much better vase.
